Website Design terms of work

Understanding your business and getting to know you on a profound level is my initial step. By doing so, I ensure to bring structure, clarity, and order to your website — so your business in general becomes easier to manage.

1. Start with a Discovery Call

   We begin with a free 15-minute call to discuss your goals, challenges, and what you need from your website. This call helps us confirm fit and decide on the right scope and pace of work.

2. Direction

   Once we agree to move forward and your deposit is paid, you’ll receive:

   • A Welcome Kit outlining the project terms, and next steps.
   • A questionnaire to understand your business better.

   Then we deep dive into 60-min Startegy call to set up the project in all details.

3. Design

   I design and build your website in Webflow using a proven foundation, adapted to your business, content, and capacity.

4. Review and refine

   Your input is key. You have 2 rounds for revision during the project.
   1 round of revision means you provide feedback, and I make the requested changes in one go. Checked, approved - the end of the round.

5. Launch and celebrate

   Once the final design is approved, I handle the launch, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your website goes live, fully optimized and ready to support your business.

1. On our Strategy Call we will state who will prepare the content, that are images and texts (copy).

   • I can independently search for stock images. But if you have photos or illustrations, that's great!
   • If you want write copy yourself or hire your expert, than you need to prepare copy before my design starts. I'm always open to call-meetings with your experts to clarify details.
   • It's possible that I'm accountable for copy. We'll clarify this during the Strategy Call.
2. During the design phase, all pictures and text can be easily modified according to your preferences.
3. When it comes to the text copy, maintaining the same amount of content as shown in the design is crucial.

• Your investment includes 30 days of Free support after we launch your website for those just-in-case scenarios— for small adjustments or questions

• Even after 1 month, I’m still here for you. My aim is for you to be fully capable and not dependent on me to manage your website. I’m always available for quick advice if needed. And, of course, if a bigger challenge arises, we can discuss a new project together.

1. I reside in CET (Central European Timezone).
2. My active hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 8 pm. During this timeframe, you can expect prompt responses to your messages. As a freelancer, my working hours are flexible, so it's ideal to schedule meetings in advance for smooth coordination.
3. I very rarely available for ASAP work.
4. Conversations are made via email.
5. Calls are made via Google Meet or Zoom.
6. I set a convenient working space where you'll see a project description, timeline, on what stage the project is right now, what are current tasks. It will also be a place for all links and materials related to the project.

• All quotes are valid for 30 days.
• All prices are in USD dollars.
• For projects less then $500 full amount is to be paid upfront.
• A 25% deposit is required to secure your project slot.
• An additional 25% payment is due when work begins.
• The remaining 50% balance is due upon project completion and before the final launch.
• Invoices are sent via Stripe, so you can pay securely by card. Direct bank transfer is also available if preferred.

To ensure timely delivery and the best outcomes, you’ll need to:

• Provide all required materials (content, branding assets, etc.) by the agreed deadlines.
• Respond to feedback requests and approvals promptly to keep the project on schedule.
• Respect the scope of the project as outlined in the proposal.

• Project timelines are outlined during the Startegy Call and depend on your timely delivery of materials and feedback.
• Delays caused by incomplete submissions or lack of communication may result in rescheduling or additional charges.

• Full ownership of the final agreed website transfers after final payment
• Drafts, unused concepts, and working files remain my property
• I may display completed work in my portfolio unless otherwise agreed

• While I can implement cookie consent solutions and privacy notices as requested, you are responsible for ensuring your website meets all legal requirements regarding data protection, GDPR, and cookie consent. If applicable, you should seek professional legal advice regarding:
  • Cookie policy requirements; • GDPR Compliance; • Data protection measures; • Consent mechanisms; • Data collection and storage.
• I am not liable for:
  • Legal compliance of cookie implementation; • Data protection issues; • Privacy policy content; • GDPR requirements; • User data collection or storage; • Consent mechanism compliance.
• Any cookie consent solution implemented is based on your requirements and does not constitute legal advice. You are responsible for maintaining and updating your privacy and cookie policies as regulations change. Regular audits of data protection measures should be conducted by you with appropriate legal counsel. It is strongly recommended that tyou consult with legal professionals to ensure all aspects of data protection and privacy compliance are properly addressed.

• An initial booking deposit of 25% of the project price is non-refundable under any circumstances.
• If you choose to cancel the project after work has begun, all payments made up to that point are non-refundable, regardless of the project stage.
• If I am unable to complete the project due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, a reasonable portion of the fees will be refunded based on work not yet completed. Where possible, I will assist with handover to another professional to ensure a smooth transition.
• I reserve the right to terminate a project if a client repeatedly prevents progress, demonstrates lack of trust, fails to make payments, or is unable to move forward despite reasonable guidance. Fair notice will be given with an opportunity to resolve the situation. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
• If a client requests a pause in advance, a short pause may be accommodated with a timeline adjustment. Longer pauses may result in the project being formally interrupted. To resume an interrupted project, availability will be reassessed and a reactivation fee of 2% of the original project value will apply. The remaining scope will be completed under the originally agreed price, provided the scope has not changed.
• If there is no response to reasonable attempts to communicate for 30 consecutive days, the project will be considered abandoned and terminated. Any request to restart an abandoned project will be treated as a new engagement, subject to current pricing and availability.
• I aim to work with care, clarity, and mutual respect, and I’m always open to communication when challenges arise.
